GREAT WAYS TO STAY WITH NARR

New River Camping

Camping*: Bring your own tent or rent one from NARR. If you like to camp the easy way, sign up for our meal packages! Enjoy a hot and delicious dinner buffets after you get off the river or hot country-style breakfast buffet before you head off for a day of adventure.

If you're looking for more of a wilderness adventure and have the gear, come and set up camp! The campground is located adjacent to the new bathhouse and near the climbing Wall, volleyball and basketball courts, and the horseshoe pit. The High Country Cafe is just a short walk away if you decide to let someone else do the cooking on your vacation.

Cabin Tents: Cabin tents are timber-framed dwellings with canvas walls and solid roofs. They have electric lighting and wooden decks to make your wild stay in West Virginia more comfortable. Our forested neighborhood of cabin tents is a short walk from all the activities and services based at NARR. Check-in time is 3:00PM and check-out time is 11:00AM.

Vacation Lodging

Bunkhouses: NARR’s bunkhouses are just a hop and a skip from our cabin tents and campground. Dormitory-style accommodations make it easy to keep track of everyone and foster a sense of “togetherness”. Tell ghost stories and roast s’mores at the bunkhouses’ private bonfire pit! Large groups can stay together in our two bunkhouses, which sleep 24 guests each. Each bunkhouse has four rooms that sleep 6 guests, and are equipped with electric lighting and fans.

Other Lodging
If the above options don’t suit your fancy, the many other lodging facilities probably will. Motels, hotels, state park lodges, resorts and rental homes provide a broad array of lodging accommodations. We use the region’s best and can often make the arrangements for you. Some of our recommended area partners are:
