Great food, plenty of whiatewater action, entertaining guides, and a beautiful riverside setting… who could ask for more?
The New River Overnight trip is highly recommended for a best-of-both-worlds” experience. Day One is spent paddling duckies on a section of the Upper New (Class I-III) with a scenic riverside lunch. Then, camp alongside the river and enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by your guides. Tents are set up and drybags are included. Day Two consists of a hearty breakfast and a raft trip down the Lower New (Class II-IV) with a riverside lunch.
NARR also runs a special 2-Day Upper New Overnight for kids as young as five. These trips put in farther upstream and do not run the Lower New section...perfect for families with younger children and scouting/youth groups.
