The Gauley River Overnight trip is an exciting and unforgettable way to experience the world-class Gauley River. Day One is a full day on the action-packed Upper Gauley with five Class V rapids, dozens of Class III-IV rapids, riverside lunch, and amazing dinner buffet with all the trimmings. After a memorable day on the Upper Gauley, enjoy deluxe riverside camping at our private beach complete with bonfire area, adult beverages (upon request), and the relaxing sound of the river flowing by your tent as you fall asleep. Day Two is a full day on the beautiful Lower Gauley (Class II-IV+) with a hot breakfast buffet at the campside and a scenic riverside lunch. Tents are included in the overnight package and already set up for you! All you need to bring is your clothing, personal items, and sense of adventure! But book early! For those that aren't riverside campers, NARR also runs another overnight allowing you to camp back at base in our campground, cabin tents, bunkhouses, or any other lodging of your choice. This trip is our 2-Day Reverse Gauley Overnight and starts with the Lower Gauley on the first day to introduce first-time rafters to whitewater, or help seasoned rafters get back into the 'groove'. The second day, you're ready to take on the mighty Upper Gauley. But you'll need your energy! Enjoy a hot country-style breakfast buffet at our High-Country Cafe before you head to the water.
